FOR SMALLER KIDS: LITTLE BITS is designed for you!
Little Bits is Creative Dramatics for ages 5-7. The workshop includes theatre games, pantomimes, and exercises designed to get the pre-reader to think in a creative way. Their showcase consists of acting out a story which they already know, and may require some memorization.
THE YOUNG ACTORS PROGRAM
For students ages 8 -12
Our new schedule includes a Saturday afternoon of fun with theatre arts. Acting, Movement and Voice, and Performance Application will be covered each week.
Our programs are cumulative, and there may be some repetition of exercises from session to session. The program has been designed to increase the skill level of the individual student artist as they progress on to more difficult and professional level work.
We realize that not all students will pursue a professional career. The workshops are meant to be fun and to develop life skills which will follow them throughout their lives and help them present themselves in front of audiences, think creatively, and develop self esteem.
If necessary, students will be split into groups of no more than 14 students each according to their age and/or experience. Bring dance shoes if you have them, however sneakers are required footwear, no short shorts or crop tops (you will receive dress code and guidelines upon registration).
please see the Schedule for class fees and times
